Park Hyatt Dubai

In an area of Dubai where old meets new, tradition meets unconventional you’ll find Park Hyatt Dubai. The creek serves to divide the old town of Dubai with the modern city. A location that draws both locals and tourists to take in the vistas of the ever expanding skyline and the tales of tradition. A stones throw from the gold souks yet in arms reach of the bustling city lights, this idyllic setting is ideal for a Dubai getaway or staycay.

As a new family of 3, we were welcomed for a day at Park Hyatt Dubai’s Amara pool. A family-friendly pool that felt every inch as luxurious as an adults-only, with in-set palm trees and four whirlpools to relax in. Close by there is a dedicated play area too; we will most definitely be back to test it out once Mila is slightly older.

With our almond-milk cappuccino’s in hand (yes, we are those people) we settled into our plush loungers under the shade of our umbrella for a late morning snooze. Well what do they say, when the baby sleep you sleep…right!

After a relaxing morning by the Amara pool, we were kindly invited to lunch at the marina-inspired restaurant; Boardwalk. Having been part of the Dubai Creek Yacht Club for 25 years, this iconic restaurant is a popular eatery not only for its mediterranean menu but its unrivalled panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline and outdoor terrace seating on the shores of the infamous waterway.

As we sat and enjoyed the views we were seamlessly served a selection of seafood from their lunchtime menu. We happily whiled away the hours under the late afternoon sunshine, before finishing the day with a leisurely walk around the neighbouring harbour. What a way to spend a day in Dubai.
